The Vineyard at Hershey’s signature event is the annual Merlot Release Party. This is THE event of the year in the Hershey-Harrisburg region and is sponsored by Members 1st Federal Credit Union. We invite you to celebrate L. Paul Vezzetti’s favorite wine, his Merlot, in true fashion with The Vineyard at Hershey: live music, a pig roast, a bonfire and a grand entrance with the first bottle – that’s how we roll!

At 12:45, Merlot Mike and winemaker L. Paul Vezzetti will get the party started by delivering the first case of Merlot in with a grand entrance! Then, from 1:00 – 2:00, enjoy special tastings of our wines with Paul in the Production Center while the sounds of Ryan Jefferys fill the Vineyard alongside our 2-acre natural spring pond. From 2:00 – 5:00, The Wave will take the Pond Stage as you enjoy the smooth sounds of their funk and jazz. From 5:00 – 6:00, grab your plates for our famous pig roast and 2 side dishes while the music of Ryan Jefferys plays in the background.

And, at 6:00, All Jacked Up hits the stage with all of the rock hits you know and love and at 9:00 we will close the evening with a bonfire that will be seen from outer space!

Tickets are $20 per person in advance and $25 at the door. Until May 15, 2013, you can purchase a ticket which includes a bottle of Merlot for only $30—saving $10 per person!

Because we anticipate more than 1,000 people, we strongly encourage you to arrive early to park, setup your spot in the vineyard (do not forget chairs, tables, and snacks) and head up to the tasting room to sample our hand-crafted wines before the party begins. All attendees must be 21 or older to attend the Merlot Release Party. While you can bring outside food, no outside beverages are permitted on the property.  Materials will be inspected prior to admission.
